Something has been eating at me. I’ve been everywhere. I’ve sold paintings in most of these United States, from 100 bucks to 20,000.
What bothers me is that I haven’t been selling to my people. Where I live, even the white collar worker is basically blue collar. The concrete and drywall crews. The middle manager getting squeezed by HR. The people who grind every damn day.
I publish a couple newsletters. The most important one is Million Dollar Garage. The name is ironic. It’s not worth a million bucks, and it’s not even a garage anymore. It’s been my art studio since Covid.
I’ve decided to mash these ideas together and aim them where my head and heart actually are. Million Dollar Garage becomes 1,000,000 Garage. Start from zero and try to build a million dollars in art with and for the people who actually work for a living.
1,000 paintings.
5 years.
999 each.
Not everyone has a huge wall, a love for abstract painting, or the duckets to drop 1K on artwork.
But we’re going to make a story here—piece by piece, sale by sale, person by person.
I’d love you to be part of that story. Any help, helps... watching, sharing, collecting, offering advice, or just making me stick with it.
